The Groom’s grand entrance to the wedding

A highly anticipated moment that marks the beginning of the wedding ceremony and sets the tone for the entire event.

One of the most exciting moments of an Indian wedding is the groom’s entrance, especially when accompanied by the loud and rhythmic beats of the traditional Dhol drum.

In Asian Indian weddings, the groom’s entrance is a highly anticipated and a celebratory moment. It marks the beginning of the groom’s journey towards marriage and is traditionally accompanied by lively music and dancing. One of the most iconic elements of the groom’s entrance is the presence of Dhol drummers. The Dhol has a deep and powerful sound that is believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck. In Indian weddings, it is often played during the Baraat or Jaan arrival, which is the groom’s procession to the wedding venue.

The role of our Dhol drummers in the groom’s entrance is to create an energetic and joyous atmosphere. We perform popular rhythmic beats to encourage guests to dance and celebrate with the groom. It is a way to honor the groom and show excitement for his arrival and of his entire family supporting him.
